Support

We offer low-cost face to face counselling in our premises in central Watford.  Counselling is available for women over the age of 16 years who have experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives.  Counselling will give you the opportunity to explore and reflect on your emotions and thoughts in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space.

All of our counsellors are female and all have undergone specialist training in sexual trauma in order to ensure that they can support you effectively as you move forward in your journey towards recovery.  We are also available to support anyone who has been affected by the trauma of sexual abuse or assault of a friend or family member.

Counselling is available during office hours Monday-Friday.  We offer up to 24 sessions, which would take place at the same time each week.  Each session lasts 50 minutes.  If you think you might benefit from counselling, email us on info@wrc-info.org and our Counselling Coordinator will get in touch with you to arrange an initial meeting to discuss your needs.

We also offer over the phone support from trained volunteers, you can call us on 01923 249 511 and leave a message and we will call you back to arrange a telephone support session.
